Introspection and Reflection

Salisbury Pond with its undulating shoreline, is a pastoral setting within which the order of the new memorial is contrasted.

Two divergent experiences honor the six firefighters that died: a sunken room of reflecting pools set in the midst of a dense wood and a tight cluster of towers which reflect as lanterns in the pond. Passing through these solemn places provides for introspection, reflection, and hopeful transition.
