Seattle Children’s PlayGarden

Therapeutic and Sustainable

Seattle Children’s PlayGarden will provide recreation, therapeutic, and educational opportunities for children of all ages and development levels, focusing on those children whose physical or mental limitations make accessing a regular playground difficult.

Jeff has been working on this unique facility since 2004 and spearheaded the inclusion of multiple sustainable features within the development: examples include FCS certified wood, passive ventilation, radiant hydronic heating, insulated concrete form walls, ‘green’ roof, and an onsite storm water management system.
